Dr. Paul Oxley

Dr. Oxley was raised in BC and moved to the Lower Mainland in 1990 to attend the University of British Columbia for his undergraduate and medical training. He finished medical school in the top 10% of his class.

About Dr. Oxley

Dr. Oxley went on to complete his residency in Plastic Surgery at Vancouver General, UBC, St. Paul’s and B.C. Children’s’ Hospitals. He trained with globally recognized surgeons Dr. Andrea Pusic, Dr. Patty Clugston, Dr. Richard Warren, and Dr. Nick Carr. Dr. Oxley also spent time training internationally in London and Paris prior to starting his practice in the Lower Mainland.

Since 2003, Dr Oxley has worked at Surrey Memorial, the Royal Columbian and Peace Arch Hospitals. During that time he has provided state of the art Plastic Surgery care. He is a part owner and performs cosmetic surgery at the Valley Surgery Centre and the new City Centre Surgery.

A Legacy of Service

Dr. Oxley is an assistant Clinical Professor at both the UBC Faculty of Medicine Division of Plastic Surgery and the new Simon Fraser School of Medicine.

Dr. Oxley was a member of the Canadian National Triathlon Team, competing in the Age group World Championships in 2015.

Dr. Oxley lives in the lower mainland with his loving wife and fabulous children. He loves being outdoors with his family, especially skiing.

Dr. Oxley is board certified as a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in plastic surgery. Since 2006 Dr. Oxley has held an appointment as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Division of Plastic Surgery at at UBC and was recently appointed to the teaching staff at the new Simon Fraser University School of Medicine.

Dr. Oxley is a member of the British Columbia Section of Plastic Surgeons, the Canadian Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.

In order to receive membership and license to practice plastic surgery in BC, Dr. Oxley was required to meet the organization’s established standards and demonstrate a high standard of practice and conduct.
